Innovative Siloxane Removal Solutions: GraniteFuel Engineering Enhances Operational Efficiency at the Three Rivers Landfill

The Three Rivers Landfill in Pontotoc, MS installed a ~1MW generating system to profit from gas previously flared at the site. An activated carbon pretreatment was also put in-place to protect the engine from siloxane damage but required frequent media replacement. The landfill contracted GranitFuel Engineering to provide an SRT with regenerative media that will protect the engine from siloxanes without the need for ongoing media replacement, providing the site with significant operational savings.
