Revolutionizing Public-Funded Energy: Golden Triangle’s Landfill Gas-to-Electricity Initiative Boosted by GraniteFuel’s SRT System

The Golden Triangle Regional Solid Waste Landfill was Mississippi’s first landfill gas to electricity generating facility to be supported and conducted solely through public funds and resources. The electricity produced from this site provides enough power for over 600 Golden Triangle area homes. To decrease the required engine maintenance a GraniteFuel SRT system was installed to greatly reduce siloxanes present in the gas stream.

Regeneration Timeline: Approx. 6 hrs per 72 hour period
Regeneration Air: Sent to flare or vented to atmosphere
Pressure Drop: <1 PSI at 400 scfm gas flow
