Enhancing Self-sufficiency: Medina WWTP’s Integration of GraniteFuel’s SRT for Efficient Biogas Purification

The Medina Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) operates independently of the power grid through the use of gas produced by the site’s two digester tanks. The exhaust from the CHP system is used to provide the necessary heat for the digester tanks. GraniteFuel’s SRT system removes >99% of the siloxanes present in the gas stream ensuring long-term operation without added maintenance cost due to the presence of this harmful substance.
